Nicest home we have stayed in wine country!

We stayed in Corinne's Sunset Peak Abode for three nights. Our party included three couples, one with a four-year-old child (no other kids). This house was perfect for our needs. All three bedrooms have king beds, with soft mattresses and nice sheets, and all three have their own bathroom (the master en suite, the others close to each room). The master has an extra twin bed/daybed, on which we were able to put our daughter. There were a few stuffed animals on the bed, which made her feel particularly welcome. Everything was clean and felt new. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the dining room was easily large enough for the 7 of us to have sit-down dinners. Corinne met us on our arrival and very briefly introduced us to the home, making us feel welcome. The house is within easy walking distance of downtown Geyserville. (There's not a whole lot there, but you can walk down for coffee, visit a couple of tasting rooms, or eat in the two sit-down restaurants). All in all, we have not a single complaint. Everything was great, and we would definitely stay there again.

Everything you need to have a beautiful wine tasting weekend!

This place was perfect! There were nine of us staying there and we all slept comfortably! I actually slept on the pull-out couch and (with the memory foam mattress topper) was super comfortable! The location of the house was great! We could walk to little tasting rooms in Geyserville! It was such a cute little town! I would definitely stay here again! :) Stayed: April 2015Submitted: April 15, 2015Source: VRBO

    Fabulous house

My family of 6, consisting of 3 adult couples, just spent a delightful 5 days in Corinne’s Sunset Peak Abode. It was perfect for our needs with 3 king size bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and all rooms were fully equipped. We enjoyed the roominess of the house along with the fully stocked kitchen. Several nights, we used the outside grill to cook delicious meals with food purchased from a local grocery or farmers market. The house was spotlessly clean when we showed up and Corinne met us at the house and gave a quick tour of the property. She was fabulous to work as this was our first house rental across the country. She answered emails and phone calls very quickly and provided all the info we needed to make this house rental a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to spend their days in the Sonoma Valley engaging in leisurely hikes, wine tasting , and family time.

    30th Anniversary Celebration

We rented the Sunset Peak Abode with 2 other couples to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Each couple had a bedroom and bathroom. The house has a wonderful kitchen with all of the pots, pans, dishes and utensils that you would need. The house was very spacious with a living room, dining room, family room, great front porch and a back yard with hot tub and gas bar-b-que. The location is walking distance to "downtown" Geyserville. (Downtown is in quotes because it is very small but has 2 mini-markets and very nice restaurants.) Healdsburg, Santa Rosa and (most importantly) Dry Creek Road with numerous wineries is all within 10-30 minutes drive on an easily accessible Hwy. 101. The bedrooms were very comfortable and having a laundry room upstairs means you don't have to pack a lot of clothes because they can be washed. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and hope to be return visitors soon. Corinne is very responsive and attentive to your needs. She obviously takes a lot of pride in her home and it certainly shows. Thanks for the great stay.

    30th Anniversary Celebration

We stayed in the Sunset Peak Abode with 2 other couples. The house was very comfortable and spacious. the house is on a quiet street that is very close to Dry Creek, home of many terrific wineries. Healdsburg and Santa Rosa are short drives away and the town of Geyserville has 2 mini-marts and very nice restaurants. The house was a great base in which to explore the area or just hang out. Loved it.
